Letter to the Retailers of Canada

This letter is to advise you that your corporate logo and link appears on the “voteonit” website “Let your mouse do the shopping” page at  www.voteonit.ca

Our hope is that you will see the benefit of displaying your logo here and the hyperlink from it directly to your own corporate website.  If you would like it removed please email us back and it will be taken off right a way, but please take a moment to read how this can help you before doing so.

The objective of our site is to allow every day people to express their views on issues that are current and usually in the Canadian News. They do so by voting and providing written comments about the issues, many of which involve the Canadian retail industry. The tally of their votes pro and con on these issues along with their individual opinions expressed will be available to you if you chose to participate with us. Just think of voteonit as a two way conduit to what every day people think about retail products and practices.  For a retailer we know this information is priceless. We would also love to get your comments on certain retail issues before we post them on the site so we can better understand the retailer’s point of view and present a more balanced perspective on our website back to consumers.

There is no cost and you may be able to save a good portion of what you usually spend in consumer research and development and give it back to your customers.  If the people are happy, then you will be happy, and successful too!

All we ask from you is the email address within your company of someone designated by you to be responsible to receive and consider this consumer input. A direct phone number would also be appreciated to better enable working with us as needed. I will call your designated representative once, so we can verify we have an appropriate contact. We will also post a list of companies that have agreed to work with us so our voters can see as well.

As you know, the internet is becoming the shopping cart of the future… a whole new way of doing business, and we at voteonit as consumers ourselves would like to make it easier and more productive for both of us. Hopefully with your co-operation both retailers and consumers can get to same page faster. For example, "Let Your Mouse Doing the Shopping" was created last Christmas when cross border shopping was the hot issue. We have left it on our web site because voters loved it and wanted to use it all year round.

The response of everyday people to Voteonit.ca has been overwhelming and we thank them for it. Their support is evidence by over a million hits, 10,000+ voters ...our first page Google search listing, front page of the Vancouver Province newspaper article (May 8, 2007), live talk show radio interview, national news coverage, and many other papers.

We have the exposure and we hope to soon be working with you on behalf of every day people in Canada.

Sincerely,

Verne Frazer
